No. If we need to pop round before we can give you a firm price, there's no charge for that visit. In most cases a clear photo is enough to quote from, so you'll get a price before we're even at the door. If the job turns out to be more involved than the photo suggested, we'll tell you before we start, not after.
Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. We don't work on Sundays. If your job is urgent, get in touch and we'll do our best to fit it in on the next working day.
We are honest about this. We don't do full rewires, boiler replacements, structural work, or anything that needs specialist certification beyond our own. We'll tell you straight if a job is outside what we can do properly, and we'll point you towards someone who can help. We'd rather say no upfront than do a job badly.
Yes. We carry full public liability insurance and are happy to show you the certificate before any work begins. Just ask when you get in touch. Vivid Property Repairs is a family business and our reputation is everything to us, so proper insurance isn't a formality, it's just the right thing to do.
You agree the price before we start. Payment is due when the job is done and you're happy with it. We accept bank transfer, cash, or card on the day. There are no hidden extras: if something unexpected comes up during the job, we'll talk to you about it before going any further.
